Der Prozess
1. The Initial Spark
Wir entscheiden uns für ein Design und einen Stoff für Ihr ausgewähltes Stück.
Bevor mit der Arbeit an Ihrem Kleidungsstück begonnen wird, ist eine Anzahlung in Höhe von 50 % zu leisten.
Anschließend beginne ich mit der Herstellung Ihrer maßgeschneiderten Muster und erstelle bei Bedarf ein Muster, um die Passform oder Form zu testen.
2. Design & Deposit
Once we have a clear vision, I will finalize the design and provide a quote. A 50% deposit is payable before work begins on your garment. This secures your spot and allows me to begin sourcing materials and planning the creation.
3. Pattern & Toile
Next, I get started on making your bespoke patterns tailored to your exact measurements. If needed, I'll create a sample (toile) to test the fit and shape. This step is crucial for ensuring a perfect, comfortable fit!
4. Creation & Consultation
Fabric preparation is next before cutting out the pieces and assembling your garment. Throughout the sewing process, I can check in with you to consult on design choices for trims and buttons—or you can have a surprise with the finished piece!
5. The Grand Reveal
The balance is paid once the garment is finished. You can come to collect it from my Edinburgh studio or have it shipped to you, ready to be worn and loved! Simple pieces can be ready in as little as 2 weeks. Timelines vary for more complex designs.
